 CFCA is a lay Catholic organization serving the poor at mission sites around the world. Through child and aging sponsorship, CFCA builds relationships of mutual respect and support, raising awareness in our own country of the needs and gifts of the poor and mission outreach of the Church.
Our Partnership with CFCA
Since 1992 CFCA has worked hand in hand with Isaiah Parish Missions in support of their ministry of evangelization. Evangelization and Social Justice are two sides of the same coin. Neither is complete without the other. Over 1000 new sponsorships annually come from the joint effort between CFCA and Isaiah Missions.
Through the mission format, CFCA is able to link fellow Catholics (sponsors) in the United States with a child or aging friend at a mission site in a developing nation. This very personal action allows sponsors to nurture the physical and spiritual well-being of someone in need.
In return, sponsors become familiar with another culture and faith perspective and have the satisfaction of knowing they are making a difference in the world. In short, evangelization becomes a two-way process. CFCA is listed in the Official Catholic Directory under Missionary Activities
